Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of various aspects of chip design, including:
• Device cell and block level layouts
• Block level floor plans
• Generation of abstract views
• RC extraction
• Schematic layout verification and debugging
• Utilization of phases in physical design development, such as:
• Parasitic extraction
• Clock generation
• Custom polygon editing
• Auto place and route algorithms
• Floor planning
• Full chip assembly
• RV DFM Density and verification
• Troubleshooting design issues and implementing proactive interventions
• Potential involvement in scheduling staffing, execution, and verification of complex chip development
• Execution of project methodologies and/or flow developments

Eligibiilty Criteria:

• Educational background: BE or BTech or equivalent technical degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Layout Designing

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in multiple levels of layout design, including data path, register files, and standard cell designs
• Proficiency in floor planning activities, including FUB/unit level assembly, routing, and integration of custom blocks into the FC floor plan
• Ability to understand issues of RC delay, electromigration, self-heating, and cross capacitance
• Ability to identify failure-prone layout structures and seek guidance from engineers to produce electrically robust layouts
