Key Responsibilities:
- Working in cross-discipline design teams involving software, electrical, controls, and mechanical engineers.
- Develop & Debug in C/C++, Python, Go, and Java.
- Creating and supporting multi-threaded command and control software.
- Close collaboration with teams to communicate with third-party I/O Controllers, safety relays, and thermal subsystems.
- Hands-on work with physical equipment setting up test environments, modifying computers, and equipment.
- Desire to understand, debug, and fix system issues spanning multiple applications.
- Daily use of debuggers, compilers, source control, networking architecture, and Linux.
- A love of tinkering, learning, and collaborating as we breathe life into advanced new systems.
- Assist in the development of software interfaces to various sensors and control components.
- Write and understand test software as it relates to regression and unit testing.
- Write software to verify and reproduce system-wide software failure modes.
- Present design work for peer review.
Eligibiilty Criteria:
- BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- C++, Python proficiency
- Java, Go, SQL familiarity
- English Fluency
Preferred Skills:
- Java, Go, SQL Proficiency
- Linux OS, Development Environment Proficiency
- GNU toolchain proficiency
- Basic electrical concept familiarity
- Container proficiency
